Registration N9912H
In spite of the move to The Netherlands in 1990, the American registration N9912H is kept. With an American certificate and in line with the rules and regulations of the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), as well as supported by the Stearman Restorers Association, a number of benefits do rise in the daily operation.
Preventive maintenance can be done by the owner-pilot, as approved by the FAA. The annual inspections are signed of by authorised inspectors.
Home base
The “Old Crow” flies circa 50 hours per year. Total flight time is more than 6500 hours. Home base is Lelystad Airport. This airport has a second, grass runway, which is the favourite of planes that have a tail wheel. Just “flying” is not enough for her and the Old Crow feels perfectly at home with the activities of The Storyteller.
